At the 58th Venice Biennale, the artist duo Pauline Boudry and Renate Lorenz will transform the Swiss Pavilion into a vast immersive installation. In conversation with Charlotte Laubard, head of the Visual Arts Department at HEAD – Genève and curator of the Pavilion, at the invitation of the Arts Council of Switzerland Pro Helvetia, they will present the intentions of their new project, Moving Backwards. Since the beginning of their collaboration in 2007, the artists have been reflecting on the conditions of visibility and existence of the other besides the categories that define our identities, through performances and installations.
