A collective project on shared observation collected at the Summer Academy in Rome and during the work.master
At the Summer Academy organized in July 2018 at the Swiss Institute in Rome and dedicated to the observation practices within the scientific and artistic fields, two films were produced. Bringing together speakers and participants, they document and put into perspective observation protocols and work methods. Structured around these two films, the exhibition Nothing is something pursues this research by seeking a return to an observation, designing for this purpose an environment allowing the visitor to develop an observer’s perspective.

A proposal of CCC Research-Based Master Programme
TRANSIT presents a selection of research projects led by students and alumni as well as collective productions created in the framework of the CCC Research-Based Master’s seminars since 2016. Revealing a great diversity of views and concerns, these contributions are related to each other through their engagement in long-term investigation processes and the development of specific research methodologies. The latter, developed during the two-year Master programme, are essential to transpose complex issues – may they be related to climate change, high-frequency trade, workers' struggles, the theory of sound or the decolonization in Geneva – in the form of public presentations focusing on the knowledge transmission.
