On May 19, 1918, Ferdinand Hodler died. The emblematic artist has deeply influenced the Swiss cultural identity. While the 100th anniversary of his death has given rise to numerous exhibitions celebrating his heritage, the students of the Bachelor’s options in Visual Arts at the HEAD – Genève offer a reflection on the painter's legacy, through topics that find an echo today.

The status of the artist, the recognition strategies, the evolution of the financial values of art, notions of identity and subjects of representation as well as an investigation of Swiss esotericism, are at the heart of the projects presented at LiveInYourHead.

The exhibition ^HODLER^ also questions a possible parallelism between the heroic male figure and the role of women in a time difference of a century.
