Italian designer
Serge Ruffieux (born 1974), a graduate of HEAD - Genève in Fashion Design, has since February 2017 been the new artistic director of Couture house
Carven for women's ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear collections. Chosen for his creative expertise, his mastery of sewing techniques and his ability to reinterpret the classics, he is in perfect harmony "
with the legendary legacy of Carven, a symbol of Parisian chic and casual elegance." Qualities gained during the experiment, notably alongside
Sonia Rykiel, at the Christian Dior atelier, he co-directed with Lucie Meier,
Raf Simons and
Moschino.
His first serie collection presented at the Carven Croisière 2018 Fashion Show and a ready-to-wear line for Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2018.
Serge Ruffieux will be the President of the Jury of the
HEAD Fashion show 2017. He lives and works in Paris.
Biography of Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone
Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone is the Creative Director of M (Le Monde magazine). He created in 2016, JBTN ltd. A creative studio in Paris, specializing in publishing, advertising, visual identity and digital in the fields of fashion and cultural industries.
Biography of Jean-Pierre Blanc
Jean-Pierre Blanc created in 1986 the International Festival of Fashion Arts in Hyères to support young designers. Director of the Office of Cultural Action and Animation of the city of Hyères, he developed in parallel the festival which opens to photography in 1997. Since 2003, Jean-Pierre Blanc is director of Villa Noailles where he exhibits fashion, photography, design and architecture exhibitions. He founded in 2006 Design Parade. Jean-Pierre Blanc, a small, interesting house to live in, commissioned by the Noailles couple and frequented by the avant-gardes, has made a center of contemporary art recognized on the international scene.
