MIKAEL VILCHEZ, Master Mercedes - Benz Prize 2017                               
The Mercedes Benz Price is awarded to someone that has been, for the jury and myself (Serge Ruffieux) somewhat self-evident. His work, refined and stripped from clichés, conveyed in a self-deprecating manner, proposes an innovative vision of denim as well as menswear.

MIGUEL FILIPE MENDES SALVADOR, Bachelor Bongenie Prize 2017    
The jury was impressed by the richness of his universe as well as his expansive aesthetics that knowingly refrains from postcard folklore. His menswear collection proposes an object of rare craftsmanship that can be rendered into a wearable product, all the while exploring new materials and esthetical references of the most creative kind.

FLORE GIRARD DE LANGLADE, winner of the 1st edition of La Redoute x HEAD Prize.
"I was beguiled by Flore Girard de Langlade’s personality, a mixture of fragility and maturity. I loved her approach to classic pieces whom she skillfully restored to their former glory. I was touched by her attention to detail, her work with materials, her aesthetic concerns and finally her men’s apparel both sensual and feminine. With this price offering a young woman the possibility to create a ‘’capsule collection’’, la Redoute rewards creativity and modernity.S

An international jury, three prestigious awards
This year, the HEAD – Genève is pleased to announce a new award: La Redoute x HEAD Prize. La Redoute will give the laureate the opportunity to create a limited collection for La Redoute for the summer 2018 !
This new distinction is added to the two major prizes traditionally awarded at the end of the show, the Bongénie Bachelor Prize worth CHF 5,000 and the Mercedes-Benz Master Prize worth CHF 10,000.
