The six schools of the HES-SO Geneva presented Thursday April 28th the first HES Awards at the opening evening of the HES event at Sicli Pavilion. They honored for the first time their network of partners and important alumni involved in their extension.

HEAD has rewarded Caran d'Ache, represented by Mrs Carole Hubscher, President of the Board. At the head of the family business since 2012, Carole Hubscher directs this true jewel of industry in Geneva, founded in 1915, specialized in writing instruments and color. The longstanding complicity between Caran d'Ache and HEAD - Geneva has increased in recent years with the introduction of a Caran d'Ache Award valuing the work of a student in the design field and most recently through the implementation of mandates for the creation of writing instruments.

"If Caran d'Ache originally meant pencil in Russian, Caran d'Ache means pen today - but pen, quill pen, color, elegance, luxury and creation - in all languages of the world." said Jean-Pierre Greff while presenting the award.
