Geneva authorities today inaugurated a monument to Nelson Mandela and his action in favor of peace. Called "Hating only harms the hater," the work was created by Leonardo Muralt, student of HEAD - Geneva University of Art and Design, winner of the competition launched in 2014 by the canton of Geneva. The monument was inaugurated in the presence of many Genevan and international personalities including S.E.M. Abdul Samad Minty Ambassador, Permanent Mission of South Africa to the UNOG and other international organizations, and Michael Møller, Director General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
