As part of the festival Montréal en Lumière, the biggest winter event in the metropolis draining every year more than one million visitors, HEAD - Geneva celebrates the creativity of Swiss design with an intervention in space both public and design exhibitions of objects and game design:
Le comte des 4 saisons
A new creation of video-mapping for the dome of the Swiss House will welcome the Swiss Consulate General in Montreal, Swiss International Air Lines and Switzerland Tourism. Le Comte des 4 saisons is both a video projection and an interactive installation that transforms the dome the House of Switzerland into a giant lantern, inviting visitors to enter and play with images. Student-es: Sarah Bourquin, Saskia Vellas (Master in Media Design), Jessye Fuster, Karen Liernur and Rahel Oberhummer (Bachelor Visual Communication)
After Paris and Langenthal, the exhibition revisits the iconic object of Swiss culture, is hosted by the Design center of Québec University in Montreal (UQAM). In a world governed by the laws of the market, in a society where design plays equally with art, what is left of Swiss cuckoo? Swiss designer Claudio Colucci has challenged the students of HEAD - Geneva reinvent a contemporary mode.
