The launch of Detours Which Have To Be Investigated, 
an art book, a CD, a DVD, produced by the HEAD – Geneva

will take place at a concert by Ivan Ilic at the MAMCO,
the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Geneva

The programme is entitled Crooked Paths, featuring Ivan Ilic at the piano.

The HEAD – Geneva is proud to present Detours Which Have To Be Investigated, a new art book, CD and DVD, the result of a collaboration between French artist Benoît Maire, American pianist Ivan Ilic, and the Master’s students of the Visual Arts department. The publication presents texts and photographs of Morton Feldman, Philip Guston, a never-before published photo of John Cage, and a new text by Ivan Ilic and Benoît Maire. Two new videos by Stefan Botez, a short documentary about Morton Feldman’s music, and a new recording of Morton Feldman’s Palais de Mari (1986), performed by Ivan Ilic, are also included in this new publication.
