Study of a 6th generation heat and cold distribution network based on carbon dioxide phase change: test and simulation

Stirling project

Stirling

The objective of this project is to test a « free piston Stirling » boiler that produces electricity and heat (cogeneration). The installation is carried out at the swimming pool of Plan-les-Ouates for a period of 4 years.

Adaptation of housing for the elderly (ADGA)

Keeping the elderly at home, largely supported by public policy, aims to preserve the quality of life of the elderly, despite the growing risk of health problems inherent in advancing age.

AEPA-OPT project

Adaptation of the efficiency of photovoltaic collectors according to the angle of incidence of the radiation to optimise the time curve of energy production

Mandate on the energy challenges of Geneva

In partnership with the Cantonal Office of Energy (OCEN), the Buildings and Energy group participates in the development of the regulatory framework to enable the canton to meet current and future energy challenges.

Study of LED flicker phenomenon

Some electrical disturbance phenomena can cause LED bulbs to flicker or flash. These phenomena are noticed in some cases with the replacement of traditional bulbs under the Eco-21 programme.
