The Buildings and Energy group is particularly active in fields as topical as the energy transition, the renovation of buildings and the conversion and storage of energy.
It collaborates closely with the external partners of the professional and/or academic environment, in implementing mandates and expert appraisals, research and development, training (HES bachelor's degree curriculum or vocational training) and for the organisation of events.
Based on the application of these practices, its activities rely on the technical, scientific and legislative aspects of its field of expertise, while considering the economic and political framework.
An outstanding interdisciplinary group, involving as many industrial technologies as building trades, it brings together all of the skills of the teachers and intermediary bodies of the Energy and Building Technology, Microengineering and Mechanical Engineering curricula.
