The 500m2 wood workshop offers the skills of professional technicians and top-of-the-range equipment for working with wood and related materials. Its aim is to support student and school projects, from conception to completion, through the discovery and experimentation of techniques and materials.
EQUIPMENT
- Stationary machines: CNC milling machine (3050x2050x100mm), automatic panel saw (5000x2100x80mm), circular saw, cutting bench with 2 radial saws, band saws, router, jointer, planer, pillar drills, edge sander, axial sanders, lap sanders, wood lathe.
- Hand-held power tools: drills, screwdrivers, perforators, circular saws, jigsaws, sanders, routers, trimmers, Lamello milling machines, Zeta milling machines, thread turning machines, grinders, etc.
- Hand tools: complete equipment.
- Painting area with extraction hood.

MATERIALS
The wood workshop sells materials and has around a hundred references in stock: panels (Mdf, plywood, etc.), profiles (squares, joists, etc.), solid wood (oak, maple, etc.). Other references are available to order upon request.
(HEAD prefers to buy local wood and/or wood from sustainably managed forests)
LOAN OF TOOLS
The wood workshop lends out manual tools: hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, files, yardsticks, levels, squares, etc., as well as electric tools.

OPENING HOURS AND APPOINTMENTS
- Open access (without technical assistance)
Monday to Friday: 8am - 10pm - Saturday: 9am - 6pm.
- By appointment (with technical assistance):
Monday to Friday: 9.00am - 12.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm.
Appointments can only be made on site: Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9am, and 1.30pm to 2pm.
