The Clair Bois Foundation is an exemplary and innovative care provider for people with multiple and severe disabilities in Geneva. Its primary mission is to provide appropriate care for children, adolescents and adults with multiple disabilities. In a welcoming environment, it offers professional assistance to people living with a high degree of dependency, in order to help them progress and fulfil their objectives. The foundation’s mission is also to offer suitable jobs to people with disabilities and vocational training courses to people with learning difficulties.

Clair Bois runs two restaurants that are open to the public and to residents, which are managed separately in the same way as any other restaurant in Geneva. All the production facilities, restaurants and kitchens, are training centres for people on disability insurance schemes and employ many disabled staff.

The Clair Bois Foundation commissioned HEAD – Genève to come up with comprehensive and inclusive new restaurant concepts for the two existing establishments and for the future restaurant in Lancy. The ten projects aimed to be in line with sustainable development and the Clair Bois vision, i.e. space design projects that are genuine, sustainable, ethical, respectful and committed.
