As part of the “MIDIS de l'Illustration” lecture series, the Department of Visual Communication cordially invites you to a discussion with Reza Sahibdad and Yann Damezin about their graphic novel *HAZARA BLUES*.

Reza Sahibdad is a director and screenwriter; Yann Damezin is an illustrator and musician.
Drawing on Reza Sahibdad’s own migration journey, from Iran and Afghanistan to France, this story explores exile and the persecution faced by the Hazara people, with a deep passion for cinema running through it.
Hazara Blues traces a path marked by obstacles, but also by the power of storytelling and creativity.

This event is part of the program of the City of Geneva’s municipal libraries, as part of the Week of Action Against Racism (SACR) in the City of Geneva.
