CARAN D’ACHE X HEAD: EXPOSITION « Antre alors »

December 2025

DISCOVER "ANTRE ALORS" - AN EXHIBITION BY HEAD STUDENTS AT THE ESPACE CRÉATIF CARAN D'ACHE IN LAUSANNE.

The works of the three artists intertwine and respond to one another, offering a fluid and immersive reading, like a composition for multiple voices. Throughout the process, their proposals adjusted to echo and coincide with each other, creating bridges of forms, colours and atmospheres. Created with Neocolor™, paint and Luminance 6901™ coloured pencils, these works demonstrate the diversity of approaches and visual languages, whilst dialoguing around a shared imagination.

Olivier Conrad:

alum 2024 BA in Illustration
Title: blau grau [lau sanne]
In between, on the paths, everything is blue and grey.
blau–grau is an exploration of the comings and goings of weekdays.
A search for moments that can transform from everyday non-places into dreams and nightmares.

Candice Guisset

alum 2024 BA in Fine arts
Title: Salle d'attente
The work captures that suspended moment when one has the impression of waiting for one's own life, a frozen instant, caught between what we hope for and what we fear.
The space has neither walls nor ceiling: it's a mental terrain, unstable, floating. In the background, the flowers, sorts of night lights, watch without judging. Their colours contrast with the silhouettes made of black, as if the future were the only place where light still exists.
They embody a discreet hope, a presence that remains there, even when we believe ourselves entirely alone.

Title: Sans Titre
Working with multiple layers of highly diluted gouache forming patterns that echo the arches of the arcades. To this is added another level of depth through the use of Neocolor which is modified by the materiality and texture of the wall. All of this in order to create a cohesive wall painting.
