An introductory day for beginners (and also for those who are more familiar) to programming software Processing. The day will be filled with interventions, demonstrations and experiments in collaboration with Studio Z1, Master Media Design alumni and Julien Gachadoat

Guests biographies : 
Julien Gachadoat was raised in the demomaking culture from the late 90’s, the Avant-Garde scene who generated visual pieces using computer code. Since then he uses programming languages as an artistic creation tool. Co-Founder of the 2Roqsinteractive numerical creation studio. In parallel he teaches programming using open source platforms (Processing, Openframeworks) as a teacher at the Bordeaux Montaigne University in Art and design.

Laurent Novac - studio Z1
Laurent Novac, born in 1986, live and work in Geneva. Laurent Novac’s research is mainly into the creation of tools and pieces with a focus on live performance, this with a particular accent on graphic rendering and sound creation. 
His work makes it possible to produce from sound synthesis a material useful in the accompaniment, the takeover and generation of visual pieces. Laurent Novac are also both invited professor at the high school of art and design in Geneva (HEAD). He has given a lot of workshops on generative design using mainly Processing at Mapping Festival, Bam Festival, Muda, Bibliothèque de la cité Genève, Processing Paris...
