Tuition fees

Semester study fees

  • Study fees
Semester fees are as follows: CHF 775.- for Swiss students (i.e. Swiss nationals or those with tax residence in Switzerland and cross-border commuters) and CHF 1'125.- for international students, payable in a single instalment (CHF 75 for teaching and administrative fees and CHF 700.-/ 1'050.- for tuition fees).
Available financial aid options can be found under the "Grants and study aids" tab.

  • Payment deadline
The CHF 775.- /1'125.- fee is due before the start of each semester.
In the event of late payment, two reminders will be sent. Study fees that remain unpaid after these reminders will result in exmatriculation in accordance with the HES-SO Basic Education Regulations (art. 38 al. 1 let. d) and the HES-SO Fees Regulations (art. 7 al. 2). There is no possibility at HEAD – Genève for fee exemption or instalment payments of study fees.

  • Semester off
A reduced tuition fee of CHF 150 is charged for each semester of leave. During a semester of leave, students remain enrolled at HEAD but do not receive a study certificate, since this is linked to the validation of ECTS credits. Any family allowances, study grants, or scholarships may be suspended.

  • Tax residence
At the beginning of the academic year, each new student must complete the AHES information form and attach the necessary documents. Registration at HEAD – Genève will not be possible without these documents.

  • Continuing education
All continuing education students pay tuition fees, the amount of which is determined by the school.

  • Entrance examination fee
All candidates for admission must pay a registration fee of CHF 150 for each chosen programme on the registration form, payable at the time of online registration. This fee is non-refundable.
