HEAD artists invest artgenève

Palexpo
Rte François-Peyrot 30,
Le Grand-Saconnex

From Thursday 25 to Sunday January 29th 2024

The 12th edition of artgenève will welcome numerous HEAD graduates and teachers to Palexpo and the exhibition in town.

Each year, a selection of students, winners of the New HEADS prize (Bachelor and Master graduates in 2023), are invited to exhibit their work at the Geneva contemporary art fair.
On this occasion, we invite you to discover the exhibition We Must Become The Pitiless Sensors of Ourselves, curated by Varun Kumar (HEAD booth - Geneva, D5).

In its perfect form, the white cube is a near death experience. White lights, limitless horizons, the dazzling maze of time casting not a shadow but the audience’s, but the artworks’, but the mind’s. The vertigo of the next life, the flooding weight of the past, it’s in the white cube that they dance, together, in harmony, at last. We Must Become the Pitiless Sensors of Ourselves unites the practices of four artists who have just graduated from a Master of Fine Arts at HEAD.

Artists nominated for the Prix La Mobilière (C1- D6 booth) :
Awarded to a young Swiss talent and worth CHF 30,000, this prize also includes the acquisition of a work by the winner. The prize is awarded to artists whose work addresses key societal issues, thereby contributing to a better understanding of our times.
This year, the nomination committee has chosen critical figures who occupy an important place on the national art scene, including two alumni.ae:
