Early 2019, following the prognostic of designers and archeologists as part of the Archeology of the invisible project, we noticed that some prehistorical habits are still active nowadays. The most relevant example is the use of emoji. Historically human beings reproduce her/his image. Whether to project herself or himself in the world, to perpetuate her/his memory, or to communicate, the anthropological representations are still perceptible in modern societies.
This talk will raise the issue of human obsessions, living archive and media archeology. This moment of gathering will also be the opportunity to launch the collaborative project Prehistorical emojis. It gathers designers and archeologists, and it is open to any person or institutions interested in the development of this research.
