Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is mainly used to study the brain, and its application in neurorehabilitation looks promising but remains unclear.
TMS stimulation can induce small non-functional movements or a sensation of movement in contralateral extremities (usually the finger, but also the wrist).
This project aims to carry out exploratory studies for the application of transcranial magnetic stimulation and muscle synergies in clinical rehabilitation practice.
The study is financed by HEPIA (Fond d'impulsion).
