This initiative is part of the wider programme of action leading up to the creation of the Trient Valley Regional Nature Park. It draws on the expertise of HEPIA's Landscape Architecture programme (professionals, researchers and the wealth of teaching offered to 120 students) to promote and highlight the landscape qualities of the future Trient Valley Regional Nature Park.
The Alps are indeed fragile regions, under increasing threat from climate change and the economic factors related to tourism. They are also victims of the inconsistencies associated with regional planning schemes.
The aim of this project is to initiate debate and raise awareness among local authorities and residents regarding the landscape challenges of the Regional Nature Park. To this end, it draws on the reflections produced by 120 Landscape Architecture students during their studio projects, offering a synthesis and retrospective of the students' work.
