The objective of the CONFORTO project is to define the characteristics of an "ideal" urban water body, which would be multi-purpose and contribute to the well-being of the population. To achieve this goal, a selection of ecosystem services will be quantified in 10 ponds (Geneva and Yverdon). These case studies, combined with information already gathered in other cities, will make it possible to adapt existing urban water bodies or to create new, optimised ones.
