Laboratory for collaborative digital work
For testing and teaching collaborative work, also named «ICE» for Integrative Collaborative Engineering, the MIC group uses a room equipped with up-to-date technologies. Three 4K screens can display several views of a digital model, simulating a collaborative work session.
The lab offers several possibilities to interface with the screens for vizualization: through a high-performance server, HDMI cables, a «Barko Clickshare» system, etc.
A videoconferencing installation and a virtual immersion system «HTC Vive» complete the installation.
Software
A full range of software, covering all aspects of the digital model (BIM authoring tools, collaborative platforms, model checker, GIS systems), as well as highly specialized risk modelling software and numerical simulation of structures, is available to the group.
