The main objective of this work is to develop methods of analysis of walks and parks accessible to all interested persons.
These methods are generally involved in improving knowledge of projects in matters of landscape and changes to it. They can provide deeper understanding of how to use public spaces and their criteria for analysis and assessment in order to optimise their management and awareness of their ecosystemic and social value.
The first method "Proposal for an objective method of analysis of walks and parks" makes it possible to develop a tool that is usable by everyone, whatever their activity, and to compare the data. The method is organised around a series of multiple-choice questions and answers. The results take the form of a diagram allowing an evaluation of the spaces studied.
The sensitive perception method "Space containing species, sensitive perception notebook" is offered in a complementary and independent way to make it possible to transcribe subjective data. The notebooks invite the participant to produce a series of free drawings, make lists of words, collections, or perform any other actions that allow a sense of space to be transcribed. In addition, a series of illustrations testify to the changes and evolution of spaces.
