Non-IT SMEs often stay away from public clouds because they cannot quantify the financial gain of using these new technologies. The PAChA project has two goals:
- To develop a new type of private cloud appliance (portable, inexpensive, self-managing and secure) and monitor the resources used by various applications running on it.
- To develop tools to estimate the potential savings (based on a pricing model) when deploying applications on our private cloud, public or hybrid cloud.
