The Arve priority landscape project is an innovative and exemplary project which has been selected by the Confederation’s Model Projects programme for the theme «developing open spaces in conurbations».
It aims not only to stimulate interest and increase support for landscape projects in the greater Geneva conurbation, but also to define the key points for the operational translation of landscape measures included in the conurbation project.
The approach of the priority landscape project stems in particular from the approaches taken by Professor Laurent Daune between 2012 and 2014. The Landscape Living Project group reported on the operational implementation experience in a work posted online on the Greater Geneva site in June 2018.
