The existing flow measurement device has shown several limitations, including frequent clogging and an insufficient longitudinal slope, which affect the reliability of the collected data.
To address these issues, a new device has been designed and manufactured: a custom-made metal component specifically developed to ensure accurate and stable flow measurement over a wide range of discharges, while remaining compatible with fish migration.
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional hydraulic modeling have been performed to ensure the hydraulic compatibility of the new device.
