Based on a preliminary study conducted in 2018, the objective of this project is to determine the potential for deer colonization of the Swiss Plateau and to identify the areas with the greatest potential. In addition, it will be required to assess the risks related to the level of collisions on roads and railways and to evaluate methods of preventing these collisions.
Deer tracking is carried out on the one hand by GPS collars and on the other hand by photographic traps.
