Nanotechnology and photoluminescence laboratory

Nanotechnology and photoluminescence laboratory

The laboratory is specialised in the development and use of material for synthesising and characterising nano-structured material.

The list of equipment below gives a good idea of the types of measurements that may be requested of the laboratory for clients or research projects with external partners.

Équipement(s):

Synthesis

  • Double glove box (0.1ppm O2 and H2O) with spin coater, ultrasonic agitator, refrigerator/freezer, hot plates
  • High-temperature and low-temperature thermal evaporators integrated into the glove box
  • Sol-gel synthesis
  • Deposit by spin coating
  • Micro-fabrication laboratory
  • Oven 1200°C in controlled atmosphere

Characterisation

  • Atomic force microscope (AFM)
  • Interferometric microscope (IOM)
  • Electron microscope (SEM, with EDX, WDS and ESBD)
  • Mechanical profilometry
  • Low-temperature photoluminescence (LT-PL)
  • Quantum efficiency measurement (IQE and EQE) for solar cells
  • Infrared spectroscopy ATR-FTIR
  • Thermal characterisation DSC, DMA, TMA
