The propagation of acoustic and optical waves is at the core of numerous current technological innovations intended to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all.
The Acoustic, Optical and Image Processing qualification group develops its scientific expertise and practical skills in designing and implementing systems and algorithms for processing and analysis in a great variety of applications in the domains: industrial, medical, transport, horology, audio, forensic science and assistance to disabled persons.
In close collaboration with our industrial and academic partners, through research and innovation projects, mandates and services or student projects, we prepare innovative solutions at the level of the design and characterisation of systems and products dedicated to image and sound.
Our main research topics revolve around:
Imaging techniques
Augmented reality
Control of sound and vibro-acoustic fields
