Micro-techniques and Bio-instrumentation group

The Micro-Techniques and Bio-instrumentation group develops applied research projects around industrial and bio-medical micro-techniques.

Its ambition is to use its expertise in miniaturised sensors and micro-techniques products to meet the challenges of society in the field of human health, risk reduction, digitisation and control of the impact of industrial activity on the environment. A strong point of the group is its proficiency in tools for:

  • Multi-disciplinary micro-techniques design (sensors, micro-fluidics, test benches and instrumentation)
  • Multi-physical simulation and optimisation
  • Micro-fabrication by printing techniques
  • Electrical impedance spectroscopy
  • Characterisation of physical and bio-medical sensors

This enables collaboration with various players in the industrial and health domains and other research institutions.
