Various green roof projects in Geneva run by the City, the Canton, the CPEG and the SIG, as well as the Green roof space at Lullier, provide testing grounds for the research work of the inTNP institute.
The aim of the SuivToits project is to monitor and evaluate, over a period of three years, the different techniques and combinations implemented, from the points of view of biodiversity, the environment (energy production, sustainability of materials used, life cycle), and the economy (costs, benefits and financing).
The results of the monitoring will be used to draw up practical recommendations for professional and institutional partners, and to expand scientific knowledge in the field of urban ecology.
