Optimising atmospheric management in vegetable greenhouses is essential to minimise energy consumption and associated C02 emissions, maximise production and reduce bioagent pressure.
By measuring atmospheric variations at tomato plant level, the research team is assessing the feasibility of full atmospheric modelling.
The aim is to identify the optimum conditions for ensuring sustainable agricultural yields, reconciling economic performance, respect for the environment and social benefits.
The project won the first prize in the OPI 2025 Coup de Cœur competition.
