Expectations of return of new Portuguese emigrants living in Switzerland

This project aims to provide an understanding about the factors that influence people’s movements between Portugal and Switzerland regarding in particular the return to Portugal. It will study the more recent Portuguese migration flows to/from Switzerland (2000-2020). It will analyse experiences and expectations of return of new Portuguese emigrants to Switzerland. The project will contribute to an ongoing research on Portuguese migrants in the UK, France and Luxembourg and return expectation from these countries.
