Development of the Swiss Nutrition Research - Healthy Nutrition:

Early Career Research Prize: CHF 500.-
- Purpose: to recognize scientific excellence in nutrition research by early-career scientists in Switzerland for the advancement of nutrition science
- Candidates: PhD students, postdoctoral fellows up to 5 years after PhD, or young investigators under 35 years.
- Eligible original research: must be carried out in Switzerland or in collaboration with a Swiss institution.
Nine candidates applied for the prize.
Winner: Eugenia Pertziger
- Title of the project: “Dietary live microorganisms and fermented foods in Switzerland: associations with cardiometabolic health and insights into biological mechanisms through metabolomics.”
