HES-GUEST public Wi-Fi network

The HES-GUEST public Wi-Fi network allows you to connect for free when visiting the various HES-SO Geneva school sites.

To access it, you must have a mobile phone (even a private one) and follow the connection procedure described below:

To authenticate for the first time, users must connect to the WIFIGE network and register on a portal by providing their mobile phone number. They will receive a code by SMS, which they can then use to connect to the Wi-Fi. The code will remain valid for six months. Once the code has expired, users must re-authenticate using the same procedure.

HES Wi-Fi network: Eduroam

Eduroam (educating roaming) is a free international internet network that allows all Swiss university of applied sciences students and staff to connect to the internet using their AAI login.

The SWITCH AAI authentication and authorisation infrastructure (database) allows students to access the internet, libraries, documents and teaching materials of all kinds throughout Switzerland with a single login (AAI login and password).

The Communications Department at HEdS-Geneva is available to media representatives for any questions regarding the school, its organisation and operations, its teaching staff, its programmes, its missions and its activities.
