ArchiLab is the first archival science laboratory in French-speaking Switzerland. Thanks to it, courses in our Information Science department will be boosted.
The archival science laboratory enriches our teaching by providing a suitable framework for practical work as well as mandates.
Besides teaching, ArchiLab enables the Information Science department to broaden our services in the domain of archiving by providing a secure space for institutional archive holdings and their process.
The classroom, with 20 computer stations, where students can access and test various document management software programmes used by professionals.
The digitisation workroom, with 6 processing stations, gives our students the opportunity to become familiar with the digitisation process through simulation and practical application.
ArchiLab is set up in two rooms with badge access authorisation only.
