Discover the new, free Tutorapp app, developed by two HEIG-VD alumni, which enables you to find support courses or tutoring, in Switzerland or abroad. Thanks to this app, you can easily connect with people offering courses, and agree together on the modalities: face-to-face or online, at the time and place of your choice. A practical solution for all students!

• Microsoft Office Suite: install the Office 365 ProPlus suite free of charge, offered by HES-SO to all students and employees through its “campus” contract with Microsoft. More information: Terms and how to get the installation
• Computers at cheap prices: buy a computer at a very attractive price and benefit from free support from the Poseidon project, for universities and colleges in Switzerland. More information: Poseidon products and loans
• Recycled Computers:
  • The Itopia cooperative, working in favor of free, ethical, sustainable and civic computing, offers affordable prices on upgraded computer equipment, repair and IT support. 
  • Via fairstore, the company réalise reconditions computer equipment recovered from companies or individuals (smartphones, desktop computers, laptops, screens and tablets) to then resell them at the best quality/price ratio.
• Computer repairs: in collaboration with Itopie, the association Home Informatique, which aims at bringing a human dimension to computing, takes care of the main repairs and support at home.

• Bookstores: present your student card and enjoy a 10% discount in several bookstores: Payot, Fahrenheit 451.
• Monlivre.ch gives the option of printing books on demand from pdf files.
• Hémisphères Journal: free subscription for students. Requests can be sent to hemispheres@hes-so.ch from your school e-mail address.

• Aquatis / Aquarium-Vivarium: reduced rate on admission to the Aquarium-Vivarium
• Yverdon-les-Bains Thermal Baths: for students: reduced rate on individual admissions to the baths on Tuesdays only, and on presentation of your student card. For employees and teachers: on presentation of documentation from the HES-SO (displaying the Haute École logo, for example), reduced rate on individual admissions or annual subscriptions to the baths, as well as half-yearly or annual subscriptions on "Fitness & Baths" / "Relaxation & Baths" / "Fitness & Relaxation & Baths". A 10% discount also applies for treatments at the Beauty Centre.

Student meals at student rate: meals at preferential rates are offered daily to all people who can certify their HES student status in the cafeterias of the HES-SO Genève (HEPIA, HEdS-Champel, HEG and HEAD): from CHF 8.90 for dishes with the “fourchette verte” label to CHF 13 for “cuisine du monde” or “street food” dishes.
