Transnational Social Movement of Vulnerable Groups : The Case of Sex Workers and Irregular Migrants (TRANSMOVE)

This project aims to explore the transnational movements of so called “vulnerable” groups. It seeks to understand why transnational collective action is taken by people in situations of vulnerability; and how do people with few resources manage to mobilize at a transnational level? This project aims to study two transnational social movements: one by irregular migrants and the other by sex workers.
