Sylvie Boisseau

A Paris-born artist, Sylvie Boisseau lives and works between Berlin and Geneva. She first worked as an assistant director in theatres in Wuppertal and Paris before making art videos and films in collaboration with Frank Westermeyer, while also creating interventions in the public space. She then turned to research, through the medium of art. Works produced under the name of Boisseau Westermeyer have been featured in international festivals and exhibitions such as the Transmediale in Berlin, Kino der Kunst in Munich and the MAC in Lyon, as well as at international art research conferences. With Jouer à être humain, Boisseau contributes to a research project funded by the HES-SO for the second time.
