Pauline Julier

Pauline Julier is a visuel artist and filmmaker born in 1981 in Geneva. Her films have been shown at numerous festivals, institutions and art centers around the world (Visions du Réel, DocLisboa, Centre Pompidou, Centre Culturel Suisse, Toronto Cinémathèque...). She explores the links humans create with their environment through stories, rituals, knowledge and images. Her films and installations combine elements from a variety of sources (documentary, theoretical, fictional) to capture the complexity of our relationship with the world.
