Mathilde Buénerd

An interaction designer and developer, Mathilde Buénerd explores the connections between language, algorithms and social relationships. Her projects take on different forms, from mobile apps to web extensions, connected objects and generative art. A recurrent topic in her practice is the question of how digital technologies can allow new modes of thinking. After studying graphic design and digital art in France, Buénerd obtained a Master’s degree in Media Design from the HEAD – Genève. Her work has been presented at international institutions and events, including the Fak’ugesi Festival (Johannesburg), the HEK (Basel), HER Arts + Data + AI festival (Rome), the Design Junior Research Conference (Zurich), Ludicious (Zurich), the Martin Bodmer Foundation (Geneva) and the Maker Faire (Grenoble).
