Martin Zambaz

After obtaining a CFC (professional certification) in Graphic Design at the Valais Cantonal School of Art, Martin Zambaz completed a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication at the HEAD – Genève. In 2022, he secured a Master’s degree in Space and Communication at the HEAD – Genève. Within the field of design, Zambaz’s practice oscillates between graphic design, film, animation, photography and spatial installation. During his Master’s degree, on a practical and theoretical level, his research focused mainly on the illusion generated by the transformation and diversion of existing materials. Zambaz uses this principle of illusion to generate fictions. Based on this idea, his latest work, Host, takes the form of an interactive installation that raises questions about scale and life, and the blurred boundaries between nature and the artificial.
