Léa Genoud

Léa Genoud is a transdisciplinary researcher and a cultural worker. After studies in social sciences and art history in Switzerland, France and Germany, she worked for two years at the Akademie der Künste der Welt in Cologne as a curatorial assistant. There, she co-curated with Nora Wiedenhöft one edition of the alternative education program around questions of feminisms, utopias/dystopias and memories of struggles. In her practice, she explores collective/collaborative processes through the formats of the reading group, alternative group museum visit, DIY fanzine and podcasts. During her studies in Geneva, she co-organized with Fatima Wegmann a roundtable on cultural appropriation during the Paraponera Festival by Outrage collectif as well as different workshops on questions of decolonial and anti-racist perspectives in cultural practices. Since July 2020, she joined the team of the TU-Théâtre de l’Usine in Geneva and co-curates the public program with Hélène Mateev.
