Isis Fahmy

Associate researcher at the Manufacture, Haute école des arts de la scène – HES-SO, Isis Fahmy is also a director and playwright. She is the founder of the company [IF] in French-speaking Switzerland. In her porous approach to theater philosophy, experimental music, new technologies, texts and bodies intersect. Isis Fahmy's projects are exhibited to the public in the form of sound installations and performances both in theaters (Festival de la Bâtie, POCHE/Geneva, Théâtre Saint-Gervais, Lieu Unique de Nantes) and in the urban space (Artellewa in Cairo, Festival de la Cité in Lausanne). Her creative process produces various forms which share and articulate her research stages with spectators, generally over several years with mixed teams of creators brought together under her impulse.
