Felipe Oliveira Batista

Portuguese designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista graduated from Kingston University in 1997. In 2003, Baptista won the prestigious Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival and Andam/LVMH fashion awards. He debuted his clothing line and staged his first ready-to-wear show at Paris Fashion Week in 2003. Baptista was appointed as creative director of Lacoste in 2010. In May 2018, he stepped down and in July 2019 was hired as creative director of LVMH-owned Kenzo until June 2021. Baptista lives and works between Lisboa and Paris.
