Céline Cerny

A cultural mediator ("médiatrice culturelle"), author, and storyteller, Céline Cerny lives in Lausanne with her two children. After working in critical editing and for the Swiss Literary Archives in Bern, Céline Cerny led an intergenerational project on writing about memory for three years. This project resulted in the 2013 publication of De mémoire et d’encre. Récits à la croisée des âges by Réalités sociales. Since 2015, she has been a cultural mediator for the Bibliomedia Foundation. Passionate about storytelling and its transmission, she also dedicates herself to the art of storytelling. Her first work of fiction, Les enfants seuls, was published in 2015 by éditions d’autre part. With the artist Line Marquis, she published On vous attend, a collection of short stories accompanied by paintings, in 2019, and Le feu et les oiseaux. Talisman pour le monde qui viendra in 2023 by art&fiction. She also contributed to several journals including Parole, Coaltar, La cinquième saison and Viceversa Littérature.
