Berit Fischer

Berit Fischer is a transdisciplinary cultural practitioner: a curator, artist, re-searcher, writer, editor. She has worked internationally since 1999 and holds a PhD from the Winchester School of Art/Southampton University, UK. Her practice and research interests include participatory, somatic and listening practices, feminist- and eco-pedagogies, as well as holistic and experiential knowledge production as a means to permeate the status quo. She strives to activate agency, fields of action and spaces for critical engagement and critical consciousness, affective encounters and relational learning towards sustainable futures for the planetary community of life. In 2016, she founded the Radical Empathy Lab, an ongoing nomadic and artistic social and research laboratory for alternative and holistic knowledge production.
