Revisited Neuchâteloise Clock Chap.2 at Time to Watches 2024

April 2024

HEAD partner of TIME TO WATCHES, Geneva's watch fair.
For 5 days, the Cube hosted 52 exhibiting brands and conferences on the new challenges facing watchmaking, giving students from the Chair in Watch Design a unique opportunity to showcase their work and mingle with professionals from the sector.

As part of the 'MyWayWatch Concept' workshop in the Master's programme in Watch Design at HEAD - Geneva, and with the help of lecturer Vanessa Lecci, the students created, for the second time, objects designed to breathe new life into the Neuchâtel clocks.

With personalities and interpretations that were as different as they were interesting, the students proposed one or more modernisations of the famous clock, in a sculptural, technical or even humorous way.

"MyWayWatch concept" is an upcycling and customisation of traditional Neuchâtel clocks, where classicism meets modernity, where the past meets the present, to bring these historic clocks back to life.

The inauguration of the new TIME TO WATCHES watch fair, attended by Lada Umstätter, Director of HEAD - Geneva took place at Le Cube.
The event attracted 7,000 visitors, including prominent members of the watchmaking profession and watch enthusiasts, who came to discover the 52 brands taking part in the exhibition. HEAD would like to thank Christian Wipfli, one of the organisers, for associating the school with this fantastic exhibition.
