As an Annemasse inhabitant, I have heard many things about this city. Although opinions were heard, most of the time, negative and a word often came: the dormitory town. So I decided to look into Annemasse and its surroundings and talk through a picture book. My goal was to go up and down these areas without a priori negative and noting, in drawings, photos and notes, the feelings they inspired me. Through this I have tried to develop a personal language, to show a different face than a stereotypical dormitory town, and above all, appropriating a city to which I had experienced a very limited interest. The result was a book, witnessed my wanderings, tracing a narrative way the reflections and drawings collected during my travels.
